Peter Rusch, lead singer of the Zodiacs, has passed away just two weeks before Christmas 2021. In the 48 years since we first met, it was always a great pleasure to share time with him; talking, drinking, laughing, playing and watching football together, and of course, making music.

Peter Rusch & George Hennig have shared friendship and a musical partnership for more than four and a half decades. After starting out together 1974 (picture) with ’Wishing Well’, Peter became 1978 the leading member of ’The Zodiacs’ whilst George tried his luck in several bands.

A celebration of 40 years of R’n’R, the Zodiac’s new album “This Starshine Moment” was performed before an enthusiastic sold-out audience at the legendary ‘Atlantis’ venue in Basel.

Gerd Schwalm von Radio X Frankfurt hat einen illustren Basler Interview- und Musik-Cocktail zusammengestellt, in dem besides Laurin Buser, Bordeaux Lip, Bettina Schelker, Vincent Gross auch George Hennig und The Zodiacs zum Zug kommen.
