House Of Dreams – A Compilation of Love Songs

From Shakespeare to Madonna, there are millions of love songs; some of them are silly & frivolous – but there are also very many deeply moving songs about true love & compassion performed by such great artists as Burt Bacharach, Lennon & McCartney, Joni Mitchell, Laura Marling, Abba with “Waterloo” & Peter Hammill’s “Vision”.
George Hennig is now releasing a dozen self-composed love songs dedicated to his cherished girlfriend & partner Doris (they met in 2005) – one song for every year, it seems. The album was conceived as a very warm-hearted tribute about their twelve years of shared love, inspiration & much laughter together.
One track on the album is entirely new (“Marionettes”), another song (“The Promised Land”) with newly-recorded vocals & a further track is a remake of the already released Hennig song “Denim And Shirts”. The remaining tracks have all been remastered with loving care & attention.

George Hennig veröffentlicht Ende Dezember ein Dutzend eigener Lovesongs, die sich alle an seine Freundin Doris richten, mit der er 2005 zusammen ist – so könnte man sagen: für jedes Jahr ein Song. Das Album ist gedacht als Dank für 12 Jahre voller Inspiration, Liebe und Lachen.
Ein Song ist vollständig neu (“Marionettes”), einer wurde neu eingesungen (“The Promised Land”), einer ist ein Remake (des bereits veröffentlichten “Denim And Shirts”). Die restlichen 9 Tracks wurden alle sorgfältig remastered.
